As we continue to go from strength to strength, the HR team needs to expand to keep pace with the requirements of a growing workforce. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:  

  • Responding to internal and external enquiries or requests.
  • Supporting the recruitment process including advertising of roles, managing vacancies, candidate responses and arranging interviews. 
  • Responding to general HR policiy and procedure enquiries.
  • Assist in the coordination of all joining, induction and leaving procedures and production of associated paperwork. 
  • Supporting compliance processes across the Firm. 
  • Assist in maintaining and reviewing all HR Policies & Procedures. 
  • Production of reports for Partners.  

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Proven experience of working in a HR role, preferably within the legal services sector. 
  • Experience of recruiting to multiple roles, including advertising, updating websites and social media. 
  • Experience of working on Employee Relations cases including note taking.  
  • The ability to work collaboratively at all level of the Firm.   
  • A good understanding of employment law.  
  • Accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and build supportive relationships. 
  • The ability to deal with confidential matters with discretion and tact. 
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge including MS Office and HR software. 
  • Excellent reporting skills. 

Qualifications:

  • Ideally, you will have a CIPD Level 3 qualiifaction as a minimum. 
  • You must have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

As we are based across four locations in Teesside and Barnard Castle, you will need to be willing to travel to all offices as required. You should therefore hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
